La sete del Mashreq
Mentre qui piove che dio la manda, nel Mashreq l’acqua scarseggia.
Si registra una nuova fase della Guerra del Nilo fra Egitto ed Etiopia, mentre:
Parti della Siria, Turchia, Iraq, Giordania, Libano, Israele e territori palestinesi sono tutte state colpite da una siccità devastante questo autunno (fonte).
La Siria è costretta dopo anni di autosufficienza a importare cibo e in Giodania è scattato un piano di emergenza idrico.
